Direct access to European energy and flexibility markets
Direct+ is a plug-and-trade solution designed to make access to European energy and flexibility markets simpler, faster, and more cost-effective. Direct+ is a joint initiative of EPEX SPOT and ENTRNCE. Through a single membership, participants now trade independently on EPEX SPOT's energy and flexibility markets, with financial settlement included.

Both organizations share the belief that European energy flexibility markets must become more accessible so that more parties can participate directly in them. Local energy at cost price+
The Local4Local project is an initiative of Dutch energy cooperatives to achieve an integrated, sustainable, collective energy supply in which the end user pays no more than cost+ for energy, with minimized impact on the local energy infrastructure. An important role in this is played by the cooperative suppliers OM Nieuwe Energie, Energie VanOns and AGEM to enable these peer-to-peer exchanges of energy at cost+ price for the cooperatives and their members.
ENTRNCE is part of the Local4Local consortium and, as a facilitator of the cost price+ model, contributes directly to this important social development. Through the ENTRNCE platform, energy communities can trade their residual volumes of cooperatively generated electricity at cost with other energy communities.

A smart solution to grid congestion
Within the Mooi EIGEN project, ENTRNCE, together with Firan and Shared Energy Platform (SEP), is developing the Energy Hub Platform. This platform enables energy hubs at business parks to monitor and control their assets to meet the terms of a Group Transmission Agreement or a collective Capacity Limiting Contract. The platform can also receive bids from assets for capacity reduction and distribute any (GOPACS) fees to assets. In doing so, ENTRNCE and the project partners are providing a platform that can directly address current congestion issues.

Contributing to the global rollout of peer-to-peer trading
The Global Observatory on Peer-to-Peer, Collective Self-Consumption and Transactive Energy ('GO-P2P') is a global network of companies, universities, and other research institutions active in the world of P2P. The goal of this consortium is to share data, experiences with P2P, and suggestions with each other by holding meetings several times a year. ENTRNCE thus seeks to contribute to the global rollout of P2P and learn lessons from others who have encountered barriers that we still expect in the Netherlands.
